Carrie Underwood underwent surgery on Tuesday after falling and breaking her wrist this past week at her home in Tennessee. “I just wanted let everyone know that I’m doing great. Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well…even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on,” she tweeted on Wednesday. “I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who’ve been taking such great care of me.” Underwood fell on steps outside her home last Friday and was treated and released from a hospital for a broken wrist, cuts and abrasions. Her husband, retired NHL hockey star Mike Fisher, traveled to Nashville to be with her.
